VRPs in Europe

Hi Tim, I know I am riding your nerves, but here it goes again:

I have now checked various Airports in Europe with the Standard Garmin/Jeppesen Aviation Database, which gets loaded every 28 days into on-board devices.
This database (at leaast for Europe ) contains now VRPs and even displays them if the latest SW is installed on your onboard devices. SD also Shows These VRPs on the map!
The naming convetion they use is ICAO identifier minus Country Identifier i.e: for UK White Waltham EGLM = LM only, or Vöslau Airport LOAV = AV and then 1-3 letters of the VRP idenitifier. This is now true for most European countries.

When I plan a route with SD over these VRPs and Export into G1000 or GTN Format, they get strong names/numbers which do not resemble the VRP identifier. I have checked again and again and even found in the latest (December 8th) database a lot of VRPs even in UK (you might check out http://www.thehangar.co.uk/waypoints/waypoints.shtml Wink
So the nomenclature is equal over Europe (EGLM has LMS, LMW, LMN for example) why does SD still not use the VRP names which all Cockpits in Europe use,  when they use the Jeppesen electronic Navigation database?

As per DCT and/or coordinates please note that Coordinates in FPLs in Austria will not be accepted‌‌, same as in Slovenia and Germany! If you use a City for example as a waypoint you MUST specify the City Name in the VFR Plan....

I hope SD will consider this in a future release. If you want, I can copy a European Nav DB Example from Jeppesen to you, which conatains ALL Vrps in Europe (including UK)  :-)

Have I misunderstood something? Why on earth would we copy data from a Jeppesen database which has been made up? There is nothing official about the "identifiers" they have used in your examples. It is simply something Garmin/Jeppesen have adopted. Many VRPs in Europe do have proper identifiers, and when they do, those identifiers are used in SkyDemon.

I know you are trying to be helpful, but just as an example, that link you provided contains many UK VRPs‌‌ which simply do not exist, or were removed years ago. It is not aviation-grade data.
