Trajectory Display: distinction between Time ahead / Distance ahead unclear.

The Trajectory Display can be set to 'Time ahead 2-5-10 minutes' and 'Distance ahead 2-5-10nm', which is great: I love to inform ATC that I am '5 minutes west of VOR'.

‌However, the depiction of the markers for both settings is exactly the same, which may lead to confusion or (dangerous?) errors.
‌I would prefer a 'min.' or 'nm' next to the trajectory axis, so that I can see which setting is active. Optionally, the numbers 2-5-10 could equally be added next to their marker?

I use the markers nearly everytime I'm approaching an airfield for landing. We are requested to contact the field 5 mins prior to landing, but report xx miles out.

My preferences setting is time, meaning I have to 'guesstimate' the distance or take other action on my iPad's display, which would detract me from looking out in the vicinity of a landing site, which is not my preference.
