Support for Apple Pencil in Scratchpad

I wonder if there are any plans to provide support for Apple Pencil in the scratchpad. Whilst you can write in the scratch pad, when your wrist touches the screen it doesn't ignore this as with fully supported pencil applications and you get random lines on the scratch pad.

It would be very useful to have this support as the pencil is also a very good interface tool for accuratley selecting user way points, for example.
