Yep, this old one, again!
I am still having problems with my external Dual 150 GPS and iPad. I thought this had gone away but it is definitely back for me .
XGPS150 firmware 1.0.34
Ipad 2 mini: just updated to 9.3.5 so the version before that! (9.3.4?)
Skydemon for iPad: 3.6.3.47
It seems very hard to recreate the situation that causes the problem, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Like many others, I have tried all the voodoo options of re-booting, turning them on in different orders, and sacrificing objects to the gods. Nothing would make my skydemon acquire location data on my Newquay Kemble leg last week. "Waiting for location data"!!!
The iPad and XGPS are (bluetooth) connected and the XGPS has a location fix, but skydemon still waits for location data??
Are we still at the mercy of Apple, or has a vendor solution been found?
[edit] just updated XGPS firmware to 1.3.4 (fingers crossed)

This is nothing to do with SkyDemon. If there were any more we could do to persuade your device to give us location data, of course we would do it.
