We will make a note to research the scope of this as a development task at some point in the near future.

any update on this?

‌‌SIGMET04 active right now:

SEVERE MOUNTAIN WAVES OBSERVED WI N5500 W00100 - N5500 W00021 - N5410 W00024 - N5333 W00521 - N5500 W00525 - N5500 W00100 FL050/250 STATIONARY NO CHANGE‌‌

skyvector plots this fine showing it in the north of england‌ but SD plots the whole FIR so not very useful

thank you!‌‌

You can rest assured that if/when there is an update regarding graphical depiction of SIGMET in SkyDemon, we will not keep it a secret.

When clicking on a SIGMET in the weather tab, wondering why it only highlights the affected FIR region as opposed to the actual area in the SIGMET coordinates.

I find myself switching to skyvector.com to achieve this which seems to be able to show this quite nicely.

Why not in SD?

Thanks!

You will see lots of attention having been paid to SIGMET in the forthcoming 3.12.4 release.
