Lakes not rendered

I've notice that at some chart scales, SkyDemon doesn't show lakes, not even very large lakes like Sweden's Vänern which is essentially an inland sea. This is confusing since other terrain is rendered.

After some testing it appears that at scale 1:2 000 000, lakes are never shown. At scale 1:750 000, lakes are always shown. At scale 1:1 000 000, lakes are shown if they were before changing the scale. I.e. when going from 1:750 000 to 1:1 000 000, lakes in the current view will be shown, but if I move the view to a different area, lakes will not be shown.)

I've primarily tried this with the SkyDemon 2 chart style, but it seems to happen with all chart styles.

I'm using SkyDemon 3.3.1.0 on a PC.

What's confusing is that the terrain colour tint is still updated until you zoom out to 1:10 000 000.

I mean no offense and I am certain your design decisions are made for a good reason, but from a user perspective it is sometimes difficult to say what is a bug and what is a design decision.
