qms crossing

Hi,
I find the extended runway centerline graphic very useful when you are about to land on an airport but, is there a way to pop up this centerline extensions lines on airports that you are flying near by? The reason why I ask you this is because when I get inside a CTR of an airport we need to fly by or fly over, I sometimes receive authorisation from ATC to cross the QMS (runway extended centerline) but they request me to report 2 nm (or 3.... etc) before arriving at this QMS. The only way I can report that information accurately would be creating a waypoint on my route crossing that centerline and track its distance, but since it's not the destination airport I just have to imagine the centerline and report an aproximate distance.
I'm using skydemon on IOS 8.02

It actually used to work this way, but it was way too crowded and people (rightly) complained. I think it's right that only the centrelines of the destination are shown. You could, if you wanted, create a user waypoint relative to the airport in question with the correct bearing and distance. It wouldn't be precise, but then, how precise are ATC expecting you to be with such a command?
