I was looking though the map layers options and saw the Airfield Labels option. I just wanted to know if this is a feature or a bug?
When selecting Airfield Label and Identifier, at a scale sub 1:750,000 there seems to be an issue with showing both of the information. Then at certain airports, in CTR's mainly, it comes back again at a scale of 1:250,000, but not all of them. The none CTR airfields seem not be affected.
Example: Hannover EDDV labels are present at1:1,000,00 to 1:1,450,000 above there is no label, it is also present at below 1:350,000 No label from 1:350,000 to 1:1,000,000
However at Berlin, at 1:1,400,000 Labels for Berlin Tegel are visible but not for Schonefeld, however both EDDT and EDDB are present from 1:1,000,000 to 1:1,400,000. The reverse it then true when it's down to between 1:500,000 and 1:350,000 EDDB is present with both labels and EDDT isn't. Then between 1:500,000 and 1:750,000, no labels are showing for either field.
It's not a major concern and doesn't really affect navigation, but i wanted to highlight the inconsistency. Perhaps, it's length of the name issue. The above issues were on the SkyDemon map 1 on an iPad.
Having investigated, this issues also on the DFS chart, there were also other issues relating to Identifier and names of airfields showing, mostly again to CTR's even when the identifier and name were selected, at certain scales either the opposite was shown, or neither was show.

There is simply no room. Things like radio navigation aids get in the way. You may decide that radio navigation aids have no place on a GPS moving map and hide them, which will make lots more room for airfield labels.
